a girl usually doesnt ask out but if she wants a guy and the guy doenst notice her then she will give signs bout wantin to be asked out and if the guy never ask out then the chick will

It is acceptable both ways, although a girl asking a guy out is rare due to the tradition that was when a man would have to woo a girl before aking her parents for consent. But that tradition has long been "abolished" so it shoudn't be a problem. Normally however I have only noticed a girl ask a guy out if they are very sure that the guy likes them and is just too shy to ask. Plus theres always mean people who can label the girl as something horrible, which is normally what keeps a lot of girls back.

My brother asked like over 5 girls the same question, they said they don't date a guy unless they get asked out. They are afraid to be rejected, but I mean the guy has the same chance of being rejected also so it's not to fair.

Personally, I think the guy should ask the girl out. I wouldn't have to wonder if he's thinking of me and interested in taking the time to ask me.

I have asked a guy out to a dance (Sadie Hawkins is where the girl asks the guy out and buys everything), I understand how difficult it can be even when you know they like you back.

It think it's fine either way as long as they both like each other. It doesn't matter what gender someone is when asking the opposite one. I see girls asking guys out all the time. It's not weird or un-normal, it's perfectly fine.

If I never asked out the man i was interested in, he didn't know I existed, we wouldn't be on our 5th ann. with a cute 4 yr old! I was tongue tied at first then realized he wasn't the long haired computer geek everyone made him out to be. After our first date {halloween} I just knew i was glad being the girl asking HIM out .
