What I have found out so far is that the front part of the brain reduces in activity but other parts increase in order to compensate, but I do not know the personality effects these have.

Well speaking as someone who does 17 hour days and thanks to my Neighbour from hell often gets less than 8 hours combined sleep a week! I can say lack of sleep affects your coordination, concentration and confidence, none of which is much good for improving your dancing!

the hours will just add up in the end.

symptoms lack of concentration,sluggishness,
and being moody.
the average adult needs 8 hours although some people are fine with six hours sleep we all vary.

all i am aware of is that we spend half our lives sleeping in a life time.what a waste!

Well I reckon you might get a bit irritable and short tempered, and your concentration would go haywire, you would be a danger if in charge of any machinery and even cooking a meal would eb dicing with death. No benefits there as far as I can see ! :D

I don't see the link between reducing sleep, and the enjoyment of dancing. You may be a mentalist.
