How do you know if He is or isn't?

That's the superego -- The portion of our brain that criticizes us. My superego has been telling me all my life that I am worthless and my life is worthless. It feels a bit like some bio-chemical action... some hormone or such, builds up from time to time and it is much more persistant message at such times and I am much more desperate when I hear myself saying how worthless I am. I have always managed to hang on until it quiets down... then, I am better at ignoring the superego and listening to the intellect... where I know that I have some value.
God is Love. Love would never do what you are suggesting. Love is patient, compasssionate, forgiving.

You were born with free will. What you choose to do with your life is your decision. God watches and guides, but you are holding the gun. Think. Picture your life. Put your loved ones in your heart and mind and put the gun down. There are good things out there. Find them!!!

No, because God created each and every one of us, in love and has a plan for us, and would never want us to take our own life, it doesn't only hurt yourself for eternity, it destroys a whole lot of people, your family most of all, I know my father committed suicide when I was 13, and he done it for selfish reasons, but it wound up hurting and nearly ruining alot of lives, until I realized that my father in heaven is always with me.
Before anyone thinks that when they pull the trigger its over, life doesn't just end, it doesn't just go away, and once you do it, you can plead and beg, but it states IN The Bible, you can not go from one side to the other, read about THE RICH Man and the beggar, when the rich man begged for just a drop of water to quench his thirst. THen to go back and tell his family about what happens, but God has already told us, through The Bible, you need to listen now, and not turn away, you don't get to change your mind.

Because suicide is agaisnt God. Suicide contradicts the natural inclination of the human being to preserve and perpetuate his life. It is gravely contrarary to the just love of self. It likewise offends love of neighbor becasue it unjustly breaks the ties of solodarity with family, nation,, and other human societies to which we continue to have obligations. Suicide is contrary to love for the living God. It is contrary to justice hope and charity, and is forbiden by the fifth commandment.
That is how i know that God is not guiding it.

No God is not guiding the hand of a person who is so depressed and down in his Spirit. God Loves you and wants only the best for anyone. The wisdom inside of us, will tell us right from wrong. When the negative and wrong thoughts come into our minds , it is not from God , but from satan. satan is trying to overpower our thoughts and wants for us to kill ourselves, then he has won over God. The Commandments say, Thou Shalt Not Kill. That is from God. So when your mind and inner sad thoughts tell us to kill ourselves that is from satan. That is not from God and it even saddens me , that so many people blame God. Why do you always blame Him, for our misfortune when in all reality, it boils down to us. It is us who choose to go one way or the other. I know for sure it is not from God. It is from satan. So if anyone who has that thought , then for one split second, think of God. He will save you and you need to remember that God did not want you to do this. While working in a photo lab, for the Police Dept. a photo of a suicide victum, who had shot himself in the head, showed his face. It was as if the stare he had, was as if he had just seen satan. It was not a good look, but one of horror. It was a bad look and you could tell by his face that he suffered and had seen satan. Then he died.

Only satan the one who's called the liar! would have you take your life. He hates you, he even hates those that follow him, he only tolerates them so they will destroy the righteous ones of the Almighty Y H W H. - NO! NO! God usually guides it in your A SS. So it must be the devils work.

When I see my husband and brother in law again when I die I will ask them if God helped them out with their suicides? Does that seem fair?

Because He specifically says not to commit suicide. God would not lead anyone to disobey His Word.

um because God doesnt exist. it is your own hand, your own free will that is guiding the gun.
