I'm not much help to you with that statistic, but if you look at photos of lungs from smokers versus non-smokers a smoker might rethink that habit. I know it is hard to break but I've know several people who have died from lung cancer who couldn't quit smoking and I will tell you that the seconds each cigarette took off of their lives finally did their job.

I'm 55 and been smoking since I was 13. don't believe all that doomsday hogwash, every body's body is different.

The figure quoted to me, many years ago, was 14 minutes, not 10 seconds.

im not sure ,but i hope not i used to smoke a pack and a half a day and im in my mid 20's(10 year smoker)
