My bottom teeth are perfect but i have an overbite and gaps in the top teeth. Ive been reseaching and people have been saying that treatment uses both top and bottom. but its only my top teeth that need fixing.
Im getting braces in 2 weeks and I'm really freaked all my friends have had them and got them off.

i have had braces two times from 16 to 18 and from 51 to 54 i now am wearing a retainer. your bottom teeth only look perfect to you. if you have a bite problem both upper and lowers have to have braces...and yes, you probably will have to wear rubber bands.

I would check with your orthodontist to be sure in your particular case, but I only had braces on my top teeth. My bottom teeth also were fine. I had my braces for about a year or so and then the dentist made a retainer to wear just on my bottom teeth. I had to stretch rubber bands from the braces to the retainer. I only had to wear the rubber bands for maybe 6 months, and then later on (right before my braces were removed) I only had to wear the rubber bands at night.

I THINK U HAV 2 TELL DA DOCTOR CAUSZ I HAVE FRIENDS THT HAV EM ONLY ON THERE TOP OR BOTTOM TEETH U COULD HAVE IT ONLY ON DA TOP
