Go to Disney.com and click on the link for their Family Fun magazine. They have a yearly article on healthy lunch box and after school snack fare. Parents magazine online is another good resource as is KraftFoods.com

I keep baby carrots, cucumbers and ranch dressing around always.
I use fresh fruit, and fruit cups.
Crackers, peanut butter, cream cheese, anything good I can spread on the crackers.
I buy baked chips, gold fish crackers, Cheese itz
I use left over portions of our dinners for the meal parts as well as, sandwiches, and soups.
I stay away from the prepacked meats, and lunchable stuff.
