I've been told I was going to hell by the woman that was sleeping with my husband.
Don't know if that's better or not, but it sure made me laugh.

good point. I don't laugh, but I will >snerk< a little.
You want an example of hypocrisy: preacher&wife with over 80,000 a year in a town where most of the citizens have less than half that; when they want something new, "God needs it".
God needed a hot tub, a weider gym, a tanning bed and new PT Cruiser, just lately. Oh, and a 5 bedroom house with a swimming pool...and a Toyota SUV...and 3 motorcycles... You get my drift, I'm sure.

No! I won't !! Because only divorcee can talk correctly about marriage to any of them. Because divorcee knew very well about marriage life and he or she left from the marriage life because they are not suitable for a perfect life. So they only can explain or defend about it with any one. !

I just shake my head. And when a closeted GOP Congressman talks about defending marriage and then gets caught running after male congressional pages and his marriage-defending GOP colleagues cover it up, I just smile because I know that the more times such moralizing hypocrites get caught in these lies, the less legitimacy they'll have with the public.

No, I consider it an opportunity to teach and correct. Marriage is sacred. Except for the reasons of infidelity and abuse, it should be sacrosanct, and no married couple, hetero or homo, should be able to violate that bond once it is formed, save for the exception. And for someone to stand there defending the sanctity of marriage after taking a huge $#!+ all over it, as if I have no right to try to make it better than they left it, totally hypocritical.

Laugh, whimper, and sigh.
I'd rather have two loving men raise a child than a man and a woman who end up hating each other.
That is a better marriage.

Well your question made me smile.
I am convinced for myself that Jesus was in favor of loving, compassionate, committed relationships -- and that he was not concerned about the gender(s) of those involved but only with the love.

I would shake my head...chuckle and then become annoyed at the absolute truthfullness of it all. Would this fall under the same category as Priests having sex with alter boys?

LoL and she is so blind she probably doesn't even see it. The thing about statements like that is they apply to everyone else but they never apply to the person stating them.
