You are what you eat is just a saying meaning that people that eat junk end up showing it. (Ever seen the commercials of a man walking around with a frosted donut around his waist?)
This guy that is hot must have a high metabolism, which has nothing to do with the saying but means that his body processes food faster than others, making him gain less off of it. Since you say he has a six pack, maybe he works out and that makes up for all the crappola he's eating.

(Hey, it HE is what he eats, he must drink hot chocolate. Get it? HOT chocolate!! :) )

Some people don't have to worry about what they eat at the moment. I say at the moment, because it catches up with people later on in life. This guy with the "six pack" obviously excercises, so he's not in trouble with his weight.....yet. Originally, "you are what you eat," meant if you're going to live off of hamburgers, french fries, and soda's, you'll end up "looking" like you do!
Perhaps when this "six pack" guy dies, he'll come back as a giant donut, and a cop will have him with his coffee!

First, you are what you eat means that the person may not see it immediately, but eventually he/she will "reap what they sow" regarding general health and body appearance. The reason the "hot guy" can "eat crap all the time" and look like that? He burns more calories than he takes in.

Yeah I've wondered that about people I know too! But give it 10 or 20 years and see what his state of health is then! I'm pretty sure were he to eat healthiliy all those years his health/looks would be better. Maybe he would be an even better athelete now if he ate better now!

Well the answer is simple and is in your question - he is in your CLASS which means you are probably still in high school, possibly college. For a lot of people, they can eat whatever they want and never gain a pound, until mid 20's or so.

Well, he's obviously burning off the calories.

But the phrase isn't just about being fat. It's also about nutrients. So he burns off the fat in the burger, so what? He's still missing out on all the vitamins that the rest of him desperately need. It will catch up to him. Watch his bones snap soon from a lack of calcium.

He will have problems when he is older if he keeps on eating "crap"... Collin cancer, or internal stuff like bowl disease. He is probably still rather young.... he will need to change his eating habits soon tho. GL TO HIM!!
