My friend is convinced that it costs a ton of money, but usually isn't that state-funded?

NO, it does not cost a ton of money. That would be ridiculous.

There are many, many organizations that can offer you information as to how to go about arranging an adoption. Planned Parenthood, New Life, or any other number of crisis pregnancy centers can give you information about this endeavor.

There are millions of couples waiting to adopt in the U.S. I applaud you for making this difficult decision. It takes a strong woman to make the right decision for her unborn child in a situation like this. Good luck.

It does not cost anything put a child up for adoption, in fact, sometimes an adopting couple will pay the birth mother's expenses as well as provide for the child from its birth. There are lots of adoption agencies on line and also State agencies that can help your friend. Churches can also put her in touch with adoption agencies.

No, not through an agency or any other form of adoption. If she has a private or open adoption, the only fees to either side is court costs that the adoptive parents pay. That's how my adoptive parents are trying to do it if they can find a birth mother.

Are you kidding? Most girls go through the adds in the newspaper and they have a bunch that says we want a baby.
Go check out each prospective parent. Call them!
they pay for everything, medical care, even buy you vitamins to take while your pregnant. Support you during your pregnancy.
All you have to do is sign over the baby when it is born and that child has it made the rest of its life. I know one girl that did that and she said they insisted on paying for everything,.
She said, "Years later she went to visit and the kid was a spoiled brat" Which she said means she has good parents.
go to a private party. Know the people. They will hire a lawyer to draw up the papers. Don't go through the state, you will be bogged down in red tape.
