my best friend told me not to take up people's time asking about dumb questions. what should i do?

Dumb is a relative term!!! Besides, you are at "Yahoo Answers". Everyone here is either asking or answering questions, it's what the site was made for...

dont ask him any "dumb" questions and you wont be wasting his time just yours. you have the right to ask all the dumb questions you want and waste all the time you want.

Okay for one it is your choice to ask any question you like. And for two, it is the other person who chooses to answer that wants to give up thier time, like me! LOL.
