EVERY single answer up until mine is incorrect.
Here is the CORRECT ANSWER from a Tupperware Manager:
Yes you can microwave in Tupperware if it is Tupperware container specifically designed for microwaving. Not every piece of Tupperware is designed for that purpose. If it is, it is SAFE for microwave use, a previous answer was wrong when it said microwaving in any plastic will harm you. Very porous containers release pthalenes which leach into your food, and then your body. Our ROCK N" SERVE containers are made of a special material that does not break down when microwave heated. The rock n' serve line is made out of the same material that bullet proof glass is made out of. Rock n' serve DOES NOT STAIN with tomato sauces (another previous incorrect answer). It's because of the material that it's made out of.
Tupperware does have a lifetime guarantee on it's products BUT it is from chipping, peeling, breaking or cracking under normal use.
I really can't go into every answer and why they're not correct. If you have additional questions about how to use Tupperware, please e-mail me at marilynmorgan@my.tupperware.com
P.S. - The rock n' serve containers are on sale until Friday 10/27 at: http://my.tupperware.com/marilynmorgan

yes, as long as there is food in it and only as long as it takes for the food to get hot....
empty tupperware will melt and it will also melt if the food is already too hot.
