Absolutely.

Aristotle divided all things into plants which do not move and animals that do move.

There is a lot of interesting reading at that site.

You're never going to believe this but its called "The Plant Kingdom"
also known as Kingdom Plantae.

There are 6 kingdoms of classification (some scources say 5, but the most recent info says 6)...One being Kingdom Plantae. Organisms in this kingdom are eukaryotic, perform photosynthesis, and reproduce either sexually or asexually.
