After December 31, 2006 you will require one (for any US location flown to).

The first few words from "pay2368" were funny... the rest are idiotic!

It would be wise to get a passport when travelling anywhere outside the country, especially when you are flying. Even though its the states, I think it would be safer if you brought one, you would get through quicker, and if something does come up when you are in Hawaii, you'll be in the clear. I recommend that you do get one. Even though it's a bit of a hassle and a wait, trust me. It's worth it.

i dont think so because, since 1959, hawaii has been a part of the United States.

as far as I understand it any one that is not from the USA when they travail by aeroplane to anywhere in the USA they require a passport to board the plane.
