You've been living together over a year, and for the past 6 weekends they go out after work (10-11pm) to meet "friends" to a bar drinking and come home 5 or 6 am after telling you they are only going out for a drink or 2 and for a little while. Is this normal acceptable behavior within a relationship?

Not in my relationship ;) I think you two need to sit down and see what is appropriate and acceptable for your relationship. It's quite alright for them to have nights out, but not every single weekend! But talk about it, and set some ground rules.

If it happens occasionally, it's OK.
But if its every weekend, it's definitely not OK. Go with him next time, or tell him you want to go somewhere with him.
Nip this in the bud before it becomes a habit.
Is he an alcoholic? Or a philanderer?

Not for me. I can't imagine it would be for most people.
Do you think it's normal acceptable behavior?
Is he/she acting like you're being unreasonable if you complain?
That's abuse.
