Bush is behaving like Dr Frankenstein at the moment. He's created the monstrous killing machine in Iraq now his 'creation' is completely out of control, and starting to backfire, he's behaving more and more like a man possessed.
Without going into the true reasons for the invasion, we all know why he did that, Bush wants a secure military footing in the Middle East ready for the invertible invasions of both Iran and Syria.
As far as his 'Mission' is concerned, I think he's making new strategy plans up as he goes along. He's fully prepared to sit back and watch Iraqi's kill each other, so long as their not his troops, why should he care?

The original mission was to rid the country of it's dictator, this we have done. Secondly, the mission is to form a democratic government that is capable of caring for it's own security and that of the Iraqi people, this we are yet to do.
The government is in place, but the security of that government and the Iraqi people is still uncertain. Until the insurgency is defeated, the security issues shall remain.
I see the clock ticking, and so does the insurgency. Once GWB leaves office, the future of Americans helping this new government is uncertain. Questions that remain are: will GWB's successor following the current policies and continue to support the new Iraqi government? Will the new president withdraw American troops if they are still in Iraq?
Your analogy of civil war being caused by Americans is tainted. This is Iraqi against Iraqi. Sunni against Shiite. Insurgents in the middle, stirring the pot, and you say the Americans caused it. Nice try!
The next game plan is one, I hope, will not be revealed until it is upon them. The problem in the past is, too much information being revealed, thus giving the ragheads a heads up on what to expect, so let's you and I wait and see.

I wouldn't use the term "Americans" so lightly because you see there are many Americans who do not support this war--just as there were many Americans who did not support the Vietnam war. Unfortunately we as a country did elect George Bush (although I should say I believe that to have been a fluke...) and so now we must deal with whatever consequences that may bring.
See I do belive Sadam was a bad man, however I don't believe that a good percentage of that country wants us there---it's apparent to me that they do not. I personally think that if everyone hates us "Americans' so much why not border off our country from the rest of the world? You see, other countries like us when they help them, but as soon as they don't need us anymore it's to Hell with America right?
It's pretty ridiculous actually.

on condition that no one else right here has a clue. i'm going to offer you a greater suitable respond. Victory became as quickly as we quite bumped off Sadaam from capability. introduced him to trial, convicted him of his crimes & the courts took care of him in popular Arab style. something of the tale will could wait. the top consequence will take years to define. Historians will tell destiny generations all approximately it. In a feeling we've had a Victory in Iraq. The brainy smurfs obtainable that think of we could deliver abode all our people & depart them to it. have not have been given a clue as to what the genuine consequencies may be. Civil conflict, alongside with the undeniable fact which you will as nicely tell Iran that Iraq is open flow take it. Then yet another greater severe priced conflict starts. individuals that say it quite is all approximately oil are no longer all incorrect. they only are not thoroughly perfect the two. right here is what happens next. while any of those strikes happens you think of gas is severe at 3.80 gal. attempt $15.00 or greater a gal. by way of fact oil grant strains may be decrease. no longer unavoidably to us, yet bear in recommendations all strikes have a reaction. for that reason Crude oil costs might sky rocket uncontrolled. the international financial gadget might start to meltdown. international locations with slightly sturdy economies flow bankrupt. Loans default, banks & gov't crumple. inventory markets colapse.it would make the industry crash of 1929 look like a sunday picnic. strolling or driving bike might exchange into the only sensible thank you to shuttle. financial gadget turns to a money basically financial gadget. credit enjoying cards and assessments no longer time-honored. people upward thrust up and demand action. yet at that factor it may be to late the wear and tear is already achieved. the value of each little thing will sky rocket, groceries clothing etc... except you have income hand you will no longer purchase lots. The blame sport & finger pointing might run wild. Mel Gibson's action picture the line Warrior may be closer to actuality than fiction. do no longer thnk for one minute that the democrats are not conscious of all this. they're in simple terms happy that the republicans are taking the warmth for it now.

Lord help these morons.......
Long term goal: Establish a stable civil government in Iraq to act as a bulwark against expansionists moves by Iran. Two, to secure the Gulf region from the military threat posed by Saddam. Three, remove Saddam from power and stop his weapoms program. Four, To kill Al Quedia & other terrorists operating in Iraq. Its easier to fight in one place than 50. Five, establish the princple of democracy in the Middle East.
To have a civil war you have to have a side fighting to establish a separate nation or government. That is not taking place. Nor is there support from the populous for such action. The insurgents are killing just to kill. They have no goal or political aim other than to kill US or those who support the government.

Easy one.. he had an excuse to go in so he did (backhanders from messers Brown & Root, Haliburton et al) and now he can pop over the border to Iranistan if they give him cause for concern (or if he tells the CIA and NSA to tell him they're a cause for concern..)
Only problem is that now North Korea really does give cause for concern.. (but that's obviously a matter for the global community, cuz N Korea is so resource poor that it has it's oil piped in from China) so where are the cruise missles and bombing campaigns now Mr Bush? - Protecting a defensless Japan? Bolstering S. Korea? - Nope - still firmly locked onto Iran's power stations..

George Bush's original mission in Iraq was to locate and destroy the Weapons of Mass Destruction that were supposedly being hidden by Saddam. When no weapons could be found, he decided to oust Saddam's "evil" government. Now, Bush is trying to "fix" Iraq (which is only broken because of him) and give the people a chance at democracy. (Interesting idea, forcing people to accept democracy.)

The goal of the mission is to make corporations that make war-related products rich. Your tax money goes into the pockets of corporations like Honeywell and Haliburton. Republicans are all about corporate profit. Nothing else.
