plain and simple Galatians 5:22..but the Fruit of the spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self Control...remember though a lot of Christians can still walk in the "carnal nature"..which explains why there is confusion of what a Christian is..And the basic description I use is a SINNER saved by GRACE, because we faced the reality of our Sin and Repented (which means to change your mind, or turn from) We come in all shapes and sizes and from every walk of life, and from every circumstance we are from every type of personality and every class of people..we are not flipping robots who can not think for ourselves and it is NOT "the easy way out" on the contrary it was much easier to walk my own walk and do what ever I wanted without giving a second thought about it and not caring who I offend or hurt in the process. I think that is what bothers me the most about misconceptions of Christians is that we are stupid and can't think for ourselves and we take the easy way out..that is SO NOT the case.

- We must follow the 10 commandments.
- We know that we cannot be perfect and follow the 10 commandments however, just like none of us completely follow the laws of america.
- To become a Christian, you believe that Jesus Christ really died for our sins, instead of us, because he decided to pay the price, and confess that we all sin.
- "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ."
- Jesus and God are one, but they are different. Did you know that if we could understand the concept of the trinity, our brains would explode because it is a true lie... or true truth... or fake truth... BLAM!!!
- "I am the only way to Heaven," ~Jesus
- Becoming a Christian isn't easy. If you do become a TRUE Christian in itself, you will be fighting a battle. A battle only Christians have the capacity to understand. The opposition do not know they are fighting.
- There are no true rules for a Christian, only that to become one, you must only accept the gift to have it. Just like if someone offered you a million dollars, you could only accept it if you really wanted it.
- God is true. "Why then, are there people dying on the other side of the world? Would your God be merciful enough to stop it?" God will only answer with an answer according to his promises. If you, anyhow, ask this question, I tell you that God will only give what you ask for, but sometimes gives you things you don't ask for. All of the things that he gives you, will be good to you in the end, keeping in mind that he gives you a lot, but a lot he doesn't, a lot is giving from others.
- Jesus promised he would save us by his own power.
- Jesus promised that God would come back when the world is destroyed.
- Jesus promised many things, but you can only accept it if you are willing.

1. Love thy neighbor as thyself.
2. Do unto others as you would have done unto you.
3. Even as you have done to the LEAST among you, so have you done to me (Christ is to be seen and served by helping people who suffer.).
4. Faith, hope and Love, and the greatest of these is love.
5. Obey God.
That's the simplest way to put it. You'd think with such simple concepts that christians would be the best people on earth. Anyway, those are my rules for Christian Conduct in a nutshell.

This is to REFUTE "onthefence"'s claims.
1.."look down on those who are not believers"
WE REACH OUT TO PEOPLE OUT OF LOVE.
2.."think that all non beleivers are evil and going to hell"
WE DO NOT CONDEMN PEOPLE; ONLY GOD DECIDES OUR SALVATION.
3.."make the Bible work for you"
WE FOLLOW THE BIBLE, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
4..preach the words of god but dont follow them
THIS IS TRUE, BUT THERE'S SOMETHING CALLED SIN. NO ONE IS IMMUNE TO THIS; IT'S INEVITABLE.
5.."divorce..divorce...divorce"
AGAIN, SIN.
6.."spread the word even to those who do not beleive"
IF YOU HELD THE TRUTH, WOULD YOU HIDE IT?
7..Dont forgive those who has a different view
THIS IS A REPEAT. REFER TO #1
8.."make wars in the name of GOD"
THAT'S ISLAM. MUSLIMS ARE NOT CHRISTIANS.
9.."Always think that a Christian view is better than everyone else"
THIS IS A REPEAT. REFER TO #1
And to answer your question, read 1 Corinthians 13

1 Corinthians 13: 4-12
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

Christians are the followers, the disciples, of Christ. Therefore, as Christ commanded, they are to have love, one for another. It was by their love one for another that all men were to know that they were his disciples. In addition, beyond this overriding characteristic of love for one another, Jesus Christ said that you would know them by their fruits. These fruits that are produced in the lives of true Christians are revealed to us by Paul the Apostle in the epistle of Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Paul the Apostle clarifies this with saying that fear is the antithesis of the spirit of Christians and that the embodiment of the spirit or character of Christians is : the spirit of power, love, and sound mind. Finally one of the characteristics of the Christian is a paradox, found several places in the Bible but summed up, for example, by Christ again saying: "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."
1- Love
2- Fruit of the Spirit
a: joy
b: peace
c: long suffering
d: gentleness
e: goodness
f: faith
g: meekness
h: temperance
3: Hope
4: Power
5: Sound Mind
6: As Sheep
7: Wise as Serpents
8: Gentle as Doves

I dunno if this is what you're after but here is the list of " fruitages of the spirit" mentioned at Galatians 5:22,23. "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law."
These are the basic characteristics that any true christian should display.

Accept God's Word without any doubt.
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Follow God's Word, for faith with works is dead.
Do not doubt the ability of God.
This is just a few things.
