Some of it appeared to be a dark red color, but most of it was the brownish color of the cat food. Now, my cat has been sitting in the same spot since I got home. What is wrong with her?

My cat did the same thing a month ago, but only threw up 3 times. By the time I got him to the vet he was already severely dehydrated, and had to spend the night at the vet hospital for tests, IV, etc, and he is 2 1/2 years old. Do not wait!!!! Call the vet immediately, your cats life is not worth the gamble. Good luck to your kitty!

Sounds like she was choking on something.
My cats do something similar but not 9 times.
A hairball will cause a cat to puke up a long tube of hair and cat food. Or if the cat ate a rat sometimes it will puke it up like sausage, maybe 1 or 2 times. Even 3 times.

You need to take her to a vet asap!!! You can't wait for 2 days, b/c kittens die of dehydration FASTER than you can imagine. She threw up so much, you need to feed her water now!!! If she's been sitting in the same spot for a long time that means she's suffering pretty bad. If you don't wanna kill her then plz take her to the vet.

My dog did the same thing... all over the place. He stopped doing it, but had to 'go' alot. He was okay after a day or 2. But, sinse that is a cat, I would take it to the vet just in case.

Take her to the vet right away -- that isn't normal. All cats throw up a hairball occasionally but not like what you are describing. I had one that threw up all over the house a few years back -- it turned out his kidneys were failing. she may have the beginnings of something bad that can be fixed if you take her to the vet quick. (or may just have eaten something bad, but she should see vet right away.)

Sounds like a big hair ball . . . she/he is willing to drink anything? Do you ever take her/him out? Some cats like a bit of green grass to help the tum.

Either change the food you are giving her, or call a vet.
