I thought that I would die without the one I loved when I would break up with someone I thought crushed my heart. Truth be told I am 27 and I have had the high school sweetheart (that one was tough first love always is) and of course a couple of others down the road. Now I have settled on the best candidate I could ever ask for. As they say time heals all wounds and eventually the right one does come along.

Fate tends to put and end to those thoughts. It happens
when your not looking. I believe people meet each other for a reason. And sometimes it's just fate. You can look for weeks,
months and even years. Yes it has happened. Everyone
gets lonely. Find some comfort in a friend, someone to confide to.
Do not give up on yourself. You are your own strongest asset. Try something new. Workout, Library, hobbies whatever your interest. I think that increases your chances of finding someone
with a common interest. And like I said, it happens when you
least expect it.

I feel that it is important to be able to feel happy & fulfilled even when not in a romantic relationship, and the things you have to do to achieve this state (pursuing hobbies & activities you enjoy, maybe joining some clubs, taking classes, reading to increase your knowledge, etc.), will bring you into contact with many other people. This not only greatly increases the chances of finding someone who shares your tastes & interests, but also helps to fine tune what you are looking for in a mate.

I don't fall for the old "love myth" that there is only one true love for each person. I fully believe that in this vast world, there are many potential mates that each of us could have happy & satisfying relationships with. It is up to us to do what we must, to get out there & meet them, but as long as we commit ourselves to making that effort, we won't have to live a lonely life without a soul mate.

Happy hunting...I wish you the best!

Yes I've thought it but really, would that be the end of the world? I am comfortable enough to not have someone and I also have many friends. As long as I'd have my friends, I think I could manage.

Yes....I thought that because I was single for 6 years...At first I thought I was single by choice...then i thought it was me...Now I have a boyfriend of only 2 months. But I thought that for a long time and started to accept it as my fate.

who wants to be alone....still alone is better than being in a bad relationship. I am ok with myself, love myself....if I find someone great, if not....not the end of the world. life goes on and I am living la vida loca.
