"With God, all things are possible" is the state motto of the U.S. state of Ohio. It is derived from the Gospel of St. Matthew, Chapter 19, Verse 26. It has repeatedly come under fire for seemingly violating the separation of church and state.

Jesus said it in refering to His previous statement that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter Heaven. When His Apostles questioned how it would be possible for any wealthy person to be saved Jesus answered with words to the effect, "all things are possible with God." I believe the passage is found in the Gospel of Mathew. Jesus had answered a question about eternal life from the "rich young ruler." I hope this answer is helpful to you.
