I've been on this site of ooo... iono..... 20 minutes and ive noticed so much hate and resentment on both sides of the fence. "Christians" why do you pass so much condemnation and judgment on the unbelieving instead on the of the Love of Jesus and his message hope? "Nonbelievers" why do you impose your beliefs on Christians and say so many hateful things when you cleary get offended when we do the same? Isnt that hypocritical? Why Hate each other?

I think the real reason is that, we do not have to look the other person in the eye when we make a lot of our comments on line. The fact that we are all hiding behind little ones and zeros, gives us the freedom to be irresponsible, without consqunce. Therefore we all start writting things that are exploivse on purpose.

I think these arguments are bound to produce anger because there is nothing more we believe to be correct than our own personal religion. People often get angry when something they believe is challenged or attacked. Also people want their beliefs to be heard or believed/accepted by everyone else, otherwise we wouldn't argue so much about what we personally believe. Argumentative hate has nothing to do with what religion the person is arguing, it's just human nature that the more you believe something on one side of an argument, the more angry you will get toward the other side. Of course we can all control how we let things get to us, we all have our breaking points. No one ever wins an argument through anger, so its not like these argumentative Christians are using hate to try to persuade a new believer. And I'm sure atheistic comments aren't being accepted by the Christians on the other side. They are just getting riled up over an foolish argument. That's all. Just look at politics, you'll see the same crazy madness.

Truth be told, I am in the middle of the battlefield. The bible was documented to be arranged by the catholic church. Some books/WORDS were take out & even changed to fit the need for laws, while others documents were even destroyed. The word "testament" in Hebrew means "News", or "Report", and the Testaments are nothing more than news. Suddenly it's become the "guidebook" to life. While you can learn alot to life, if you'd put your faith in a book written by the extremely powerful Church organization, and not in the love of others and being a good person with good intentions, I hope one day you will wake up. Religion is tearing the human race in two. It's similar to tribal conflicts from long ago, with the difference mainly being that religion is not something you wear on your body, (although some of us do). Ultimately I have no clue of how God works. I agree with you. I don't understand this planet myself. Everyone wants to be right or be "the way", but the minute their "rank" is threatened, suddenly they aren't so "holy" anymore. I just used a bunch of quote marks hahaha. Saying that we as non-christians all say hurtful things is hurtful in itself. I am not a christian. I am however a follower of Christ. If you'd like to have your faith remain in a building I understand completely. I would recommend working your teachings into selflessly helping others with no religious conversion strings attached however, and I don't mean "community service", or giving to homeless. Try helping people see the light and truth of things in life itself. People have enough trouble being happy with life. Making "religion" is just a whole nother ball of crap they have to think about.

Christian belief says that the lost will go to Hell---we don't want that. The Love of Jesus and the message of hope won't get the non-believer to Heaven if he/she doesn't accept "the message of hope". SOME non-believers are frightened that the rigid way of Christianity will be so different from their old way of life, they will have no life at all. Christians know differently. The hateful thing issue vs. offense: that's just the way the world spins.

Hate is a strong word. Religous, not spiritual, people get on people's nerves because they live their lives based on a book written by man. That book was intended to keep people in line. If you think about it, the religous folks are merely followers of a book that most certainly was not written by God.

God is the collective soul of all those who have chosen to put their souls in the pool of souls that have completed their spirit's journey. A journey that includes "home" and here on earth. Earth is a boot camp, likened to Hell. This is Hell, right here. We choose to come back time and again for learning purposes. Of course God is great because I know what God is and what it means. God is those souls who have completed their spiritual journey and give their souls into the collection of souls who have been here enough times to learn the perfection of spirituality. This is just a place of learning, by good behavior and bad. We all have something to teach each other, regardless of how bad the lesson may be. We are all redeemable in God's eyes. God is not some single entity, sitting on a throne. That is ridulous at best. There is a Hell and it is where you get sent when you let bad free will get the better of you in your prvious lives., You have to keep coming back to this hell until you learn your lesson and learn to value two things. Knowledge and Love. That is why God is perfect. People get angry because some are stuck on religion and those who don't believe in religion are usually spiritual. Spiritual folks get irked hearing all the man written bible junk being shoved down their throats because religous zealots are usually uninformed, very harsh, judgmental, cruel, money mongers and the such. Jesus was here but he is not the only begotten son of God. Women and men alike. We are all the sons and daughters of God. Jesus plight fit very well into the storybook back then. Jesus was very spiritual and it frightened folks when he could see into their lives using his psychic abilites to talk to those from home to guide him. Back then, he was basically considered a witch because of his talent to be clairevoyant. A lot of us have the same talents, we just don't know it. Thank goodness clairevoyants are not burned at the cross or crucified anymore, huh? Then we wouldn't have all the wonderful psychics like Sylvia Browne and Chris Defresne to help us straighten out our false beliefs about what lies beyond here.

Because no matter the problem, it's always easier to point the finger & lay blame than it is to find a solution. Anger gives purpose and direction - you don't have to think when you're angry, just react. It is too much risk to love - for them. Hopefully more will come to see & understand Love is everything.

I think it's because nobody can see the other side. I have friends that are uber christians and ones that are uber atheists, several friends who are part of "fringe" religions, people who do lip service to something, and everything in between. I don't understand why people have to be cruel and hateful because that just reflects poorly on you. I think that everybody is going to exactly what they think in their hearts they are going to. Reincarnation is big. Yet, I am a catholic, as such. So, who knows? I don't understand this at all.

Condemnation & judgement have nothing to do with love.
God judges me and I have no doubt that He loves me. He loves me, but it doesn't mean he approves of everything I do.
People are either a little too sensitive or they're searching too hard for approval from others.

I don't think that's true for every single Christian or Atheist. However, I think it's easier to hate than to try to understand the other point of view. If that happened, you might question what you believe. Heaven forbid we do that. ;)
