Psalms 90:10 says, the years of our lives is 70 or 80.Israel became a nation May 14,1948,so minus 1948 from 2015,and that is 67 years. That leaves 3 to 13 years until the end.I believe the average age today is 76 years old for women and 75 yrs.for men.Since Matthew ch 1 gives the genology from Abraham to david as 14 generations, from David until the falling away of Babylon, and from the falling away of Babylon until Jesus was 14 generations. That's a total of 42 generations from Abraham to Christ, but since these generations past,I would use the average generation of the time. We're in today,so I would use todays average since it's still in range. But we can die at any time and always should be ready and live for God.

typically about 40 years
IE the 40 years in the dessert
as for the end of days, trust me its not worth thinking about. People have been trying to predict it way before Jesus. When the time comes, everyone will know

Typically 40 years. However, the passage says that the generation would not pass - could that refer to when the last one of that generation dies - which could be what 110 years or so? I don't claim to know.

It depends upon the context of the passage where the word is used. Normally it means around 40 years but Jesus was talking about the church age when He used the term "generation".

I really don't think anyone knows the answer to that.
But if it is 70 years, then 2018. If 60 then 2008--spookey-spookey.
God has my attention.

There is no end. Quit expecting it to come. Ever hear of a self-fulfilled prophecy? It's sickening.
