That depends totally on the age of the girl. If, for example she is thirteen and he is 19 or 20, then yes I believe it to be unhealthy because a 13 year old really hasnt formulated a lot of knowledge about life in general. At 17, however it is a different matter, the teenager is no longer a child and does not think like a child, therefore is more able to know what she is doing. I think even at 15 and the guy is 20 or 21, the girl still hasnt the maturity to be in a serious relationship. It all depends on the age of the girl, and what is 5 plus years...is it 6 or 7 or 8 or 9? It makes a huge difference what the exact age difference is of both parties. And I believe if a girl is under 16 and the guy is in his middle twenties, then they are in for a hell of a time because at 16, while girls think they know everything, they are still very inexperienced about life.

Who truly cares about your united states's "age of consent" - it truly is in most cases a criminal construct, no longer a real looking estimation of the adulthood element of the man. Being bodily in a position to 'have a relationship', EMOTIONALLY waiting, or INTELLECTUALLY waiting, or in basic terms 'grown up' sufficient to have a relationship, are ALL very diverse issues. I somewhat have not met ONE 14 year old that is seen emotionally or intellectually waiting, and (perhaps) in difficulty-free words some 16 year olds. in truth, there are countless 23-25 year olds who are not truly mature sufficient both. BTW, this is no longer in basic terms those who're 'so adversarial to' minors getting 'in touch' with a lot older persons. you're staggering, seven years isn't THAT a lot of a distinction, yet enable's flow the different course for a minute - what about a 'relationship between a 16 year old, and a 9 year old? Do you imagine it truly is advantageous? WHY or WHY no longer? this is in difficulty-free words a seven year distinction... What about a 14 y.o and a 7 y.o.? this is nevertheless in difficulty-free words a seven year distinction, accurate? A 21 y.o and a 28 y.o.? No subject, presented they were somewhat mature sufficient for a relationship...

Teenagers don't have enough life experience to plan a long term future for a relationship with an older person (like marriage or living together). Even though they may think they do.

I do not think that it is healthy for that kind of realtionship, personaly I think that the male needs to be atleast 21 and then the girl needs to be atleast 19 or 20 for them to even think of getting married other than that I think that it is just discusting.

i dont think its un healthy as long as the age groups are both at the same maturity level and can handle this relationship and as long as one does not take advantage of the other.. basically as long as the relationship itself is heathly then age should not be an issue

i do not think it is healthy if you dont think, you should explain to her that there is more in life, tell her to focus on college instead of boys and tell her to give the relationship a rest

I do not think it is healthy nor non-healthy; it is only the way you choose to live.
