Ok so im trying to save up to get a dog, but my parents say i have to save up at least $1,000 until i can get one, i have to pay for everything. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can get that much?

offer to do the house work or mow the lawn or wash the car for money have you thought of getting a paper round or asking anyone if there dog needs walking and in return they will pay you good luck

have a garage sale. Look for toys you no longer need and sell them on Ebay or at your garage sale. Collect junk from the neighbourhood, tell people you are having a garage sale to save money to buy a dog and if they have anything they no longer need and can donate to you, I;m sure some people would be willing to help your cause.
You can get a job if you are not old enough, take jobs in the neighbour hood. makes flyers on your computer. rake leaves, shovel snow, mow lawns, pull weeds, take out garbage.....do whatever you can
Make a website, open a paypal account, and dedicate your site to you, why you want a dog and how hard u will work to get one and ask people for donations
use your imagination, you'll come up with some great ideas

Good for your parents. Earning money is going to help you in the following ways:
It let's you parents know that you're serious about setting and achieving goals. If you stick with it, then it shows them that you can make and keep commitments. That is very important when you have a pet to take care of. So many people get dogs and are great about taking care of them in the beginning but over the long haul they abandon their caregiving and the pets sadly go neglected.
It's a big responsibility to have a dog. Good for you for wanting one. They are great.
So, how to make $...sounds like you are a minor/teen so..
-Work at a fast food place
-Do yardwork for your parents, relatives & neighbors
-Babysit/childcare
-Wash cars: Create your own car wash ticket 5 car washes for $20 or "Buy 4 get 1 free"
-Interior car care: If you live in an area where it's too cold to wash it...then offer to clean out the interior of cars
-Bake sales
-Housework
-Get a newspaper route

you can wash cars ( thats a pretty good one) you can seel stuff, have a garage sale, oooooooo u can save cans like the aluminum soda one ( i think plastic 2) and bring them to the recycle you get 5 cents each ( thats not much but it really adds up ) you can sit other dogs ( to finjd out if you really want to get one) , you can ask for money for your birthday/christmas, you cans put the money you earned in a bank ( i dont know if it costs money to open an account but you do get interest) , you can sell things like lemonade, you can babysit ( thats easy money if your good with kids)

Try to do the "red paperclip" thing and just trade up until you get $1,000 or a dog.

YOU SHOULD DOG SIT!! that way you can have practice taking care of dogs and you can earn money at the same time but then again you should only take care of only ONE dog
