After I hang out or talk to people, I completely go back in my head and replay the whole scenario, and think about what I I did wrong, and what I could've done better.....This drives me insane! What happens is, think about what I did wrong, try to fix it, and wind up making the whole situation worse.
How do I stop this??
It drives me absolutly CRAZY! Especially with guys, cuz I have NO idea if they go back and re-think situations like I do.....

It's psychological and you're not alone- everyone does it whether they are conscious of it or not. Unfortunately one cannot go back and redo something, the action already took place- my advice and speaking from experience, never say you're sorry for being who you are and what you think. Depending on a given situation, you can feel better knowing that mentally, you are sane and not going out of your mind. Have you ever been in a conversation, said something inadvertedly, it became an arguement and stopped talking for 2 days?- then to come back and all is "right as rain."? Go back and think of that situation and know that both parties have a common bond- does that make sense to you? If you feel you did nothing wrong, then so be it- life goes on hun and so will your friends and family.

I do it also. (Not with "boys".) If they don't find out we are nuts, then we're good to go. I think it some kind of obsessive/compulsive behavior that is not harmful to others. Yes, I'm a guy. I do it. I think it gives me an edge up when the same situation happens again. (But then I have a few beers and go to sleep. I forget everything I learned.)

I would suggest keeping a journal. Just keep it to yourself. Don't try to go back and fix things, just write down the lesson you learned and use it in the future. Everyone reruns things in their minds. Sometimes you can get a bit obsessed. I have found that writing down all my thoughts is very therapudic. Try it! Good luck.
