by my hairline by my forehead i have something right there that is really red and about the size of a dime, it looks like a burn mark... and it hurts really bad... i dont think it is a zit... what could it be??

why not stop by a pharmacy and ask them what it is and what can you apply to it !! they dont charge you 4 asking this is there job and they have to help you to no what it is !!

Sometimes an ingrown hair or a zit will occur a little too close to a nerve. This is much more painful than normal. Dehydrate it with an astringent like alcohol or witch hazel. It will either subside or fester in a couple of days.

is it swollen-it might be a boil, pretty much the same as a pimple only its a huge ball of infection that will get multiple small heads and be a pain to drain. I'd put a hot compress on it until it shrinks. the heat may seem to be making it worse-but its actually drawling out the funk.

5 words. Derm a tol o gist. good luck. one time i had something like that. It didn't look like a pimple. But it went away after 2 weeks.

This question should be answered by a doctor,if its been there for a while it could be a form of skin cancer and should be looked at by a doctor.no need in taking any chances.
