She probably won't show signs for awhile. At 4 weeks, you will probably know in the next few weeks. How big is she? It's probably easier to tell with a smaller dog. Her nipples will swell a little and her belly will be very obvious by week 6. Check out some information about dog birth so you are prepared and have a plan if she is pregnant. You will need to be available to help her in case something goes wrong, but most dogs have a natural instinct and can do it all themselves. If she is pregnant you are going to have a blast playing with the puppies! There's nothing like it! Good luck.

There are a LOT of sites on the internet. See some. Do some of the work yourself. You want to be a breeder, then be one. Do the research and get a clue!!! Take the dog to the vet for a check-up, and get some more info there. Better start now....time is ticking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Generally, it is good to think about this and learn stuff BEFORE you let the dog get pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dog looked like she had gained weight, she was looking fat in her tummy!! I thought for sure the matting didn't work! We never saw the dogs get stuck together or anything ,like they are suppose to and we thought she wasn't pregnant! But she looked like she was getting fatter, So i took her to the vet for a xray to see if she was!! The xray wasn't expensive and it would show us if she was or not, and guess what. She was, you could see the tiny ones in the xray, the vet showed me were it looked like she had two maybe a third one!! But guess what now, she had 4 !! So if you think she is you could get an xray done and know for sure!! Then you can find out everything else you need to know about all your questions!! They'd be happy to tell you more about it!! Good luck!

If she is in heat It is way to early to know if she is pregnant. Did you see her tie with a male? The only way to know is take her to the vet at 28days, vet can palpate then, or you can have a pregnancy test done. If she is pregnant, She wont start to show untill 6wks. So you'll have to wait and see. They are pregnant for 63-67 days. 9wks. You need to to alot of research so many things can go wrong. This site can help you out.

It's hard to tell if a dog is pregnant untill it swells. I'd go to a dog sight. go to Dog Gestation & Labor FAQ . That one works well

Why didn't you get your dog spayed? One dog is plenty responsibillity now you are going to have several. I hope you know what you are getting yourself into. This country has a huge over population of animals (mainly dogs and cats.) Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Zena
