Medicine says they do not know the cause but you don't catch it from someone (infectious). Do things to reduce stress (see Rx for happiness page on below). You need to avoid foods without fiber that clog up the colon and eat foods with fiber. Site below tells more on that. Allso bottom of fasting page tells about a colon cleaner/healing herbal food.

definitely see a doctor to go over treatment plans.

in the meantime, check out the specific carbohydrate diet. it is based on eliminating hard-to-digest carbs (not a low-carb diet) to allow the gut to heal. i never felt better in my life!
