Real men are out here! Men have a tendency to bury our emotions. It is not , I repeat not about women. Guys are taught, for the most part by society, to mask or bury you feelings. Sensitive men will bellyache and cry at the drop of a hat. Most guys will not show emotions. Please note ladies, first and foremost, this issue is not about you!

Not show emotion or affection=normal health guy. That is just the way guys are, on the surface. He shows plenty of emotions and affection, you just can see or read it. Guys don't complain because it's a sign of weakness(and it's acting like a woman too). Guy's don't like to be weak.

Sure, there are a couple boring white skinned fat geeks that don't play games.....but you'll never give those guys a chance anyway.

Oh yes my darlin. Men are very emotionless for the most part. I'm not sure if it has to do with their chromosomes or what--but they don't like to show how they are feeling...instead they let it all build up inside until it just bursts out one day (usually when they are alone...). We all know its not healthy for them to be this way, but there is no changing them and the more we try to get them to show emotion they more they will withdraw from us.
My boyfriend is just this way--I have seen him cry once...when we got into a bad bad fight, but other than that he just closes up tighter than a book.
The only advice I can give...as long as you are confident and know what you want you will find a man who will not play with your head--but they are rare...the older they are they better it is (well, usually anyway)
Good luck

Wendy,
First, you can't always generalize -- not all men are the same, not all women are the same. I've known plenty of women who will get mad but NOT complain when "something's wrong," and the guy never has a clue that he's upset her, he just knows she's mad but not why. We're all different.

Second, despite having said that, *most* men are very easy to "read":
-- not showing any emotion and not affectionate: they love you, you know this 'cause they hang around you and say and do nothing.
-- not showing any emotion and not affectionate: they don't love you, 'cause they're not showing emotion or being affectionate somewhere else.
-- what's a guy thinking about? Sex, sports, sex, how good you look, sex, what's for dinner, sex, sex, sex, what's on tv, sex, sex, beer, sex, sleep (dream about sex).

See, it's easy -- we're honest to goodness just not that deep. Really. :)
