I've started running and I want to know a few things. What is a good way to stay motivated for running? How long will it take to become accustomed to it?

Do you like running? Do you look forward to it? To stay motivated you need to pick something that you really love doing. Try a number of different things, and see which one you really like. If you like running, that will keep you motivated.

Pace yourself and don't try to over do it.
You have to build up your tolerance for running before you can be accustomed to doing it.
Set a goal of how long or where you want to run to and work slowly to achieve it!

Good luck!

I find running magazines and running websites can help with motivation. runningworld.com is a good one. Also having a running buddy or a running group helps to. I found lots of information about groups at the local "running shoe" specialty store.
_Also sent mini goals for yourself that helps too.
*Good luck*
