You have to be registered with one of the Indian Nation's, like Choctaw, Sioux, etc. I think the allotment for free college and medical care is an eighth or maybe it is one-sixteenth. After that you're not considered native.

My husband found out on accident it was incredibly small, like 1/16th or something.
