I can guarantee this, because I am a natural brunette, and have dyed my hair light brown, blonde, red, black, had highlights put in, and even probably had all of those colors in my hair at the same time at one point. And now, after all that, I am growing my hair out so it can be in it's natural state, dark brown. I thought that hair dye makes your hair softer, but I was wrong. And if you get your hair lightened, then your hair gets very dry. Natural is the most beautiful to me.
