Jesus revealed that only a relatively small number (later identified as 144,000) will be in the heavenly Kingdom. They are known as the "little flock." They will rule as king & priests with Christ in heaven. The majority of the ones who receive eternal life will be earthly subjects of the Kingdom.
The ancient nation of Israel was bound to Jehovah by means of the Law covenant, God was their “husbandly owner.” (Jeremiah 3:14) The apostle Paul speaks of Jehovah as the Father of anointed Christians, his spiritual sons, and of “the Jerusalem above” as their mother, indicating that Jehovah considers himself a husband to this Jerusalem. Galatians 4:6, 7, 26; compare Isaiah 54:5

Jesus Christ is viewed as the Husband of the Christian congregation. (Ephesians 5:22, 23; Revelation 19:7; 21:2) This analogy highlights both his headship and his loving care for the congregation. He laid down his own life on behalf of his bride, and he continues to feed and cherish it.

The little flock are Christ's true followers alive at any given time, the Husbandly owner is Christ. Both are calling the whole world to the marriage feast which is Christ with His bride (the people that are finally saved and will enter into eternity, including the little flock and all who died in Christ in the past).
