Ask him! If he's that great, you might want to ask him before someone else asks him out. If he's the shy type you might need to be the one to ask him.

Yes a lot of girls didn't ask me out. Now they are stuck with a loser.
My wife is the first girl I had nerve enough to ask out. Actually she was with this other girl tha tsomehow started to talk to me.

If you like him don't let anything stop you... ESPECIALLY if you know he likes you too. You never know, he could be the guy you fall in love with! Take your chances, if you don't, you could regret it.
