i dont really like my HMO plan cuz i have to pick from a list.... is it expensive to go to a dentist and pay cash?

u just have to call around. i had a plan and gave it up because i found a dentist that would clean for $29 every 3 mos. and my insurance was $10 a week. u just have to call around and ask friends who they go to.and what they pay watch for ads in ur little community paper or even in ur local paper. my dentist does that all the time.

I just had a cleaning today and it cost me $111.00. A filling six months ago cost me close to $300.00 dollars. I guess it varies from dentist to dentist. You can call a dentist office for estimates if you want to pay cash.

it may not be that expensive for a cleaning,x-ray,exam,=(150.00),but if u need work done that really adds up.I would definitely suggest looking for someone in ur dental network. Maybe ask for recommendations in ur area-angie-RDA
