I am single, living in Winnipeg Manitoba, and I feel that I am losing the battle when it comes to dating. I would love to get feedback from women on their views on dating men in wheelchairs.

I am sure there are! I already have a boyfriend so am not in a position to speak... I know plenty of girls who would. God has someone for you. Just wait on him to bring her. She will be perfect. Trust in that and wait. Live your life without dwelling too heavily on this matter. There are so many things that matter more! Best of luck, love others and I know you'll find love!

OK, I'll say that it is a little intimidating. First impressions, unfortunately, go a long way.

However, I feel that the only important thing is what a person is like on the inside. Yes, first impressions attract people together - but if you can show a person who you are on the inside, by getting them to laugh and smile, things like a wheelchair seem to disappear. And you see the person for who they are, not who they aren't.

Good Luck - I bet she's out there waiting for you - go find her!!!

You know what. If I met a guy in a wheel chair and he and I got along and he asked me out, I would totally date him. However, if you're asking about dating you, I can't say yes or no cuz I don't know if we'd get along. Wheelchairs are not a matter I consider when dating but the chemistry is what matters. Good luck though

I think you will find someone when the time is right. If my boyfriend had been in a wheelchair I would have dated him anyway. To me it makes no difference! I am not a shallow person, I try to see people for who they are on the inside! i know it gets lonely when your single, I've been there. Be patient. I pray that God sends you someone wonderful and that you will find lots of happiness together!

I think it's just as normal as dating a normal guy. You are a person and just because your different from the outside doesnt mean that you should be excluded from love life and dating. I certainly don't mind dating men in wheelchairs. I love to help people whenever they need me and if they need a helping hand i would be pleased to help them. What's the difference ??..your still human and you deserve to have a women! If i lived next to you i won't mind dating you!! seriously.. you just have to find the right person who won't critisize you! Goodluck!

I'd have no problem with it if I really loved a guy...I don't think that physical abilities matter as long as the guy is perfect in my eyes or at least half way close to it =]. As long as he's able to make children...I'm fine...because I can't wait to have childrenn and live happily as a whole family =]]]!

I dont even care about the money. Love overrules money by 100 percent and no matter what guys think, not all girls go after money!

Nope Because women 15 years my senior are infertile and I want a family of 5 or 7 or more like my parents had. So i need a female 20+ in my life. (which is what I have). Older women are virtually useless to me right now at my stage in life where its time to begin a family. Also older woman younger male doesnt work all that well over the long term. It hardly even works for celebrity women making millions anually. It aint working for regular women. IT MIGHT work for bisexual older women who bring younger women into the bedroom for the younger husband to play with it. THAT can work. Its easier for females like my mom to marry someone much older than them because they have a long history of making that work and older males are fertile and can father children. Older woman younger male is still a Guinea pig relationship. A hugely unproven one. I aint gambling on it. Thats just a fling type relationship for most males. For marriage most males prefer to be above our female in age and feet/inches. It make us feel like a man instead of like some woman's boy. The oldest I have dated older than me was 2 year older when I was in college. But she looked younger than me though and I look older than I am. Asian females always look 7 years younger than they are.

I would have no problem with it personally ... but to be 100% honest ... he might have to be more outgoing & obviously firtatious with me (in the beginning) than an able-bodied guy for me to notice him off the bat as a GUY as opposed to "a guy in a wheel-chair". Although I'm normally into athletic guys who are into outdoorsy stuff (hiking etc)... I also like smart, intellectual guys ... so if he had those qualities and especially if he were charismatic and a good conversationalist & had a good sense of humour... well then...I could totally be into him!

I, see nothing wrong with dating a man in a wheelchair, they still have a heart and a spirit, I know a lot of disabled people who have very happy lives, so please don't let this stop you.
