My 3month old kitten has recently started sneezing quite a bit. We recently discovered mildew in our house could that be the cause? We also have two rats one of which has a viral respiratory infection, could that be trans-species contagious?

If you have took her to the vet they would probably ask you about the other animals and rats have been known to carry disease to other animals so just take her to the vet. Also she might be allergic to something so look through the house for things that she might be alergic to.

Take her to the vet.

Call a Vet. My Kitten had symptoms like this and she had a respratory Infection. It is possible that the same illness your rat has could be trans-species.
I'd still call a vet.
Good Luck! Hope Kitty feels better.

I think it's not likely she got anything from the rats and why not make a phone call and ask the vet.

go to the vet. It may be nothing more than allergies or a cold, but it could be serious.
