Altitude means height. Area of rectangle is Base*Height

why can't you do the first one? don't you know that area (in a rectangle) is the length times the width?. . so it's just 10 x 12 = 120

the second one is easy as well. .

since 50 goes evenly into 100, by multiplying it by 2, just multiply what john got by 2 as well, and you have the percentage. .

48
