Lilith was the creation of a Victorial playwrite named George MacDonald. Now everyone thinks she really WAS the first woman.

Unless you're looking for the Hebrew version. Lilith is the name of a female demon. Thought to be the "wife" of Samael, the true name for satan (which means adversary). From her, again supposedly, spawned vampires. Beings with white skin, black hair and leathery wings.
