Why does it bother me that my b/f of four months is keeping his myspace profile at SINGLE when we are in a relationship??

He is on his myspace everyday, and has even updated other information on his profile, yet keeps his status as SINGLE.
Why?

A few of my friends think it's because he wants his cake and eat it too.
To have me as his g/f but keep his options open.
What do the males on here think??

Ladies, how should I approach him about changing it to "In a relationship", or should I een ask him to change it?

I know that single can mean "not married', and technically he would be considered 'single.'
However, myspace gives you an option to also choose "in a relationship."
Which usually means GIRLFRIEND!

Tell him to change it. I had a guy friend use that crap as an excuse to meet chicks even though he said he was "technically" single not married. Whatever if he has a gf he is in a relationship. Period.

There are more important things in life rather then worry about a friggin myspace status. It's so pathetic that the youth today is sucked up in this world full of stupidity. People are dying in war, children are starving in other countries and all you can care about is a myspace status. WHO CARES maybe he doesn't want to put it because you seem like the person to complain about this littlest things and you seem to be annoying.

My opinion? I think MySpace is going to become the number one relationship killer ahead of drugs/alcoholism, infidelity and financial difficulties. Honest.

have a friend ask, so it looks like they're wondering
or put yours as single and see if he says anything just say "oh i thought since you did..." although that might cause potential conflict/drama.
you could just come out and ask it as a joke.
it's not a huge deal though.

Don't, you will just push him away. Instead, keep your profile as single too, see how he likes that, and when he asks....

Just because you two are dating doesn't mean you're in a relationship......
Since you already consider him you boyfriend, ask him if he considers you his girlfriend.

Ask him to change it unless he'd like the two of you to change your status.

I don't think u should try to get him to change he must not want anyone to know he has a girl. I wouldn't want anyone who don't want people to know we are together.
