My daughter has an itunes account from her ex-boyfriends ipod, with a ton of music formatted for the ipod......but I want to buy her either a Creative Zen, a Toshiba Gigabeat, or a Microsoft Zune (haven't decided which as of yet), but I want to know if there is a way to convert those songs from the ipod to play on one of those other players (mp3 or wma format).

Maybe you could have a 15 days free trial of Total Video Converter which converts all video files to 3gp,mp4,mp3 or wma ,psp,swf,flv,DVD,VCD...

Yup iTunes will convert AAC files (iTunes preferred format) to MP3 but not WMA. However Media Player will convert from MP3 to WMA.

Just because it's a music file doesn't mean it's automatically an MP3 people.

Look for the broad and complete review of the microsoft zune,it's specifications and it's compatibility issues with music.
