The myth about gold scratching you is untrue. The gold leaf is hammered so thin its almost transparent. Gold is a very soft mineral and i am sure as thin as it is it would not cut you even if you held it in your hand and tried.Do you actually think that cuts would make alcohol enter your bloodstreammore quickly? if you are bleeding blood is coming out so nothing can go against the stream. Your body absorbs alcohol first. So there is no need to do anything but drink it.Goldschlager is just a clever marketing concept. And Pure gold is innert (like surgical stainless steel)no human is allergic to pure gold. Now there are people who are allergic to alloys commonly used to make gold more durable.

Aftershock does not have things that float but you can eat those crystals after you drink the liquor. Go to the Craft store and maybe they have some type of edible flakes if not maybe you can add some Ice cream sprinkles. Or just put in real gold, I am sure you have a bunch just lying around lol.

Goldschläger
It contains only about a tenth of a gram of gold (worth barely $2.00) lowered to this point because people were having allergic reactions to it. There was an old rumour that when you drank it, the gold would cut your throat and allow the alcohol to enter your bloodstream quicker. This is, of course, only a rumour.

GOLDSCHALAGER, It has the cinnamon taste, the gold flakes actually go down your stomach and scrach your stomach so the alcohol can get into your blood faster.
