Because he is not real. no matter what other bolognie people try to put together or say, that is the only end conclusion that seems to answer all of the 'why wouldn't god' questions rationally.

God revealed Himself to Abraham and his descendants. God wanted to have a people that lived as an example to the rest of the world. However, as with the rest of humanity, Israel fell away from God's commands time after time. God was basically showing that it was impossible for even the most well meaning person to simply obey a set of commandments. That is why He came as Jesus Christ. Jesus showed what was possible with the power of the Holy Spirit. His death and Resurrection allowed us to "start again" with a clean slate and without the same compulsion to do wrong/not do right. God now reveals Himself in the lives of everyone that is loyal to Him and lives according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Apostles, in the power of The Holy Spirit.

If you had 4 manufacturers making a differant car each, then each one is going to say 'my one is the one you should have' . Depending on how gullible a person is, you will then get some believing that such an unfounded statement is in fact, a fact!!!!!.

And so we have the same situation with the bible book - someone wrote it, decided on what 'manufacture group' to aim at - and then proceeded to sell the idea. Obviously the group that was praised thought it a very good idea and have stuck with the falseness of the racist comment.

But its not anything to get worried about, its only a fictional story anyway. Relax, be good, be a human, as we all are.

God did reveal himself to us through Christ. And He will once again reveal himself in the future...

Also..

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Well, God is already openly visible to those who can apply enough abstraction to reality. I don't doubt that it has revealed itself now as much as it ever has; to the Jewish people or otherwise. Anyway, the Hindu people used the single deity abstraction for just as long as the Jews did.

Without Faith God cannot be pleased.

Jesus said, "Blesses are those who do not see and believe" He said that to Thomas, when Thomas refused to believe that Jesus resurrected from the dead and he wanted to put his fingers where the nail marks were. When Jesus appeared to Thomas, Thomas did put his fingers in the nail holes and Thomas rejoiced.

God is talking to each and everyone, but ARE YOU LISTENING? It would break our free will that God gave us. What love would there be if God appeared to us?? We are not robots programmed to follow God, we make the choices. Jesus will come back one day, could be now, today, tomorrow, 50 years from now, nobody knows the time or date, NOT EVEN JESUS HIMSELF.

I'm under the impression here that God the Father, and Son long ago left earth for some other planet. Their time of return is drawing near though, according to the signs Jesus gave of His return. When they return to earth, then will every eye see Him.

But God does show Himself each and every moment. The problem lies in the hardness of heart within the people.

Even if signs and wonders were given blatantly, with bells and whistles, and flashing lights, people would still reject Him. Heck they do not even pull over for fire engines!

Open your heart, your mind, and your soul to Christ.

Every nation on earth was sent a messenger. The last one was Muhammad and the message God gave to us in the quran is here for all to see in its original form.

Verily, We sent (Messengers) to many nations before you (O Muhammad SAW). And We seized them with extreme poverty (or loss in wealth) and loss in health with calamities so that they might believe with humility.
( سورة الأنعام , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #42)

And for every Ummah (a community or a nation), there is a Messenger; when their Messenger comes, the matter will be judged between them with justice, and they will not be wronged.
( سورة يونس , Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #47)

He wants us to come to know him by our self so it's our decision oh and there is also the fact that if he revealed himself he would destroy us all cos he is so good and we are full of sin.
