I don't know any site, google art tips and see what comes out of that... But I can provide my own art tips...
-Take tips and other items that you have learned and use them to create your own style, be yourself.
-Constantly practice, try also new things that you would never attempt.
**Remember this! No one can really teach you to be an artist or to create art in the way that they taught you. You have to devolp your own style.**

If you think you are going to perfect your art before you get to art school why go? I'm not being smart, I know what you're saying you want to put your best foot forward. Don't worry about it. Just do your best and be happy with what you're doing right now. You will never perfect your stuff and I'll give you two reasons why.

#1: You are your worst critic. It doesn't matter how great you do something you will always see the flaws in it. So in your eyes it will not be perfect.

#2: Think of what you know as far as technic goes and how you use it right now. Imagine what you'll know after school. The stuff you do now that you thought was so brilliant will suck compared to then. Now think ahead ten years out of school. If you still study things and try new ways of doing art think of what your stuff will be like then. It will make the stuff you did right out of school look like crap.

Art can be the most self rewarding thing you every do. Never stop learning. That's the key. Perfection is an illusion my friend and nothing more. As soon as you think somethings perfect you'll find a new way to make it better. Art is a process of evolution. You start at one point and you keep getting better. It takes hard work, determination, and sometimes you have to sacrifice things to get better.

I don't know what stuff your into so I can't recomend specific sights. The one thing I can do is tell you to do searches on every style of art that interests you and even some that don't. Even if you're just looking at someone elses work you may find a solution to a problem you're having with you're own stuff. I stole, (I mean borrowed.) how to do chrome from Robert Williams. (Many years ago, and I'm not the only oneI) I studied the stuff he did and tryed to duplicate it. After a while I started to change things up on how I do it and put my own spin to it. I have never looked at anything that actually gave instructions on how to do it. In fact study everything you see. (Not all the time! That would be silly!) Folds in fabric, how light from different times of day can change the appearance of things. You are surrounded by constant lessons you just have to realize them when you see them.

School will teach you a lot but you have to fill in everything else. Keep working, keep learning, and keep improving!

Good luck!

Don't know a site but do know a book. "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain". It was the text book my Drawing teacher used in my college drawing class. By the way I graduated with honors for my fine arts degree. It's really a good book.
