How can you enjoy money if you are grieving for someone you love? I would say no, no, no.
Even if they weren't dead, just unhappy or unhealthy, to know you caused them that pain is unthinkable.

No, I would not take the money. I have something that money could NEVER buy.. I am a religious person.
I trust in my GOD to provide for my needs. I don't need large sums of money to get me through life. I am so grateful that I have something way more important than money, something that money could never buy. I have my health, I have a home, I have 5 grown children and 14 wonderful, beautiful grandchildren. I have everything I need and I am one very lucky person.

The love of money is the root of all evil.

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." - Matthew 6:19-21

That would be pretty selfish to turn in your good friend just for 100 million dollars... What could one possibly do with that money?
If I had need for 100 million dollars, I'd trust that God would provide me with the means of getting it.
However, He would not ask me to put a friend in harm's way.

As a Humanist I would never take money under those circumstances. I would never put those I love at risk. Money is nothing compared to the security of my loved ones.

Well, something "might" happen to someone I love or know very well even if I DON'T accept the money.

Your question is far, far too vague to answer in a reasonable manner.
