Sage pork Chops....I love using "rubs" on chops and roasts.

INGREDIENTS
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 center cut bone-in pork chops
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup water
2 cubes beef bouillon
DIRECTIONS
Combine the salt, sage and black pepper in a small bowl and rub on both sides of the chops. Melt the butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium high heat and saute the chops for 5 minutes per side, or until well browned.
Meanwhile, in a separate small saucepan over high heat, combine the water and the bouillon and stir until bouillon dissolves. Add this to the chops, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer chops for 45 minutes.

Seasoned with seasoning salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Dredge them in a little flour, then fried in canola oil until browned.
OR
I use a McCormick cooking bag for porkchops. They are really good and easy. Clean-ups a snap too using these.

My favorite...

Saute them after washing them, in olive oil till brown about 7 mins on each side, then turn down the heat and simmer with lid on to fully cook.

Then in a seperate pan, I take cut up apples about 4 and about 1/4 cup brown sugar, some cinnomin to taste, walnuts and some butter... saute until its thick.. and the apples are cooked down...... I start this while chops are cooking... then when the apples are soft and its seeming to be thick... serve over chops or on the side.. but dont forget to throw in some raisins.

This is called Chutney. My husband dies for it. I use it with pork loin too.

Enjoy!!

I love mine breaded and lightly fried. Dusted in flour and spices and dipped in egg and then bread crumbs and then fried in a little butter with oil. With cooked apples and onions sauteed on the side--YUM. I also love them quickly browned and then put in a dish and covered with cream of mushroom soup with a little milk, bake at 350 until tender abt an hour, serve with buttered noodles or mashed potatoes and broccoli or asparagus on the side..alittle apple crisp and you have a wonderful fall dinner....

I like pork chops simple. Pan "fry" them. Put a couple pats of butter and a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan, salt and pepper the chops and put the chops in. Brown them on both sides till done. Serve with apple sauce and potato pancakes. Yum.

In casserole dish, alternate pork chops with sauerkraut - ending with sauerkraut. Pour in 1 cup water.
Sprinkle with brown sugar. Cover and bake at 350* for 1 hour.

Either on the grill or just fry them in a little butter with the heat on medium until they are brown. I don't put anything on them.
