Flea Bombs aren't good enough, you've got to treat the yard, the house, pets bedding, carpets, furniture and the pet itself. Use Adams flea spray and spray the ENTIRE inside of the house, use the Adams Shampoo on the pets. once every two weeks..outside, use Triazicide Spray ( hooked to water-hose), this stuff is GREAT and works up to 2 months...I went all last Summer and into this Fall and do NOT have fleas inside the home or out. and none on the dogs or cats...I have a lot of strays that come and go and many Deer. I've never even seen a tick after using this method

When a home is infested w/fleas...there are the fleas themselves...and also always many, many flea eggs. The problem may be that you are killing the living fleas, but not the unhatched eggs. You must treat the fleas (which does not kill the eggs), then treat again within 7 days to kill the eggs which hatched out since your first treatment. As for killing the fleas on the dog....I really recommend a trip to the vet. He/she can give an injection which kills the fleas (and the eggs when they hatch) via the dog's blood. Very effective.

go to the vet and get a product called Revolution. it is absolutely great. i used to have issues with fleas also but not anymore. it works like advantage but extremely better. the difference is that revolution goes into the blood stream, whereas advantage stays on the skin and washes off. it is also guranteed to protect against heartworms, ticks, deer mites, and about 6 other possible issues, i just cant remember them all. it will kill all fleas, fleas eggs, and larvae. also, if your dog does develop heartworms while on revolution, the company will pay 100 percent of the cost to cure your dog. it is a little more expensive, $33.92 for one tube for a 90 pound rotty/pit mix, but it is very much worth it. you won't have any fleas in your yard or house ever again. i recommend it to everyone.

Would suggest bathing your pet in the "DAWN" diswashing liquid, spay your lawn with a good flea killer, but remove animal and let it dry before allowing pet back on,and purchase the "Advantage" once a month preventative for your pet.

Raid Max works great. Make sure you read the directions and get enough to cover your entire house/apartment. Do the basement, too, or they will just migrate down there.

Make sure you remove pets, and read directions about turning off furnace and anything that may cause a "spark" and ignite the bomb. I usually just turn off all electricity when I do this.

Blessed be,

Gypsy

The best thing to do is go to the vet and purchase your pet Frontline. A product that works and doesn't get into the bloodstream.
