Make a police report. Have the report contain some information that shows it is unsafe for the abandoned vehicle to be on your property. (You have kids, pets, it blocks line of sight, fire hazard, something like that.) With a copy of the report, call the local city waste management. Don't bother talking to the putz that answers the phone. Get a manager, give him/her the report number. Tell them you expect the car to be removed within 24 hours. (You have to deal here. Give them up to three days.) If the car is not removed, call the local ombudsman. Ask him to see about having the waste management supervisor removed. That should get the car gone.

Don't bother calling the Police, if it is on Private property it is not within their remit, and they certainly cannot give you owner details, due to the Data Protection Act. If the car is not displaying a tax disc, then contact your local Council, they have a duty to deal with it, they will probably start by putting a 14 day notice on the winscreen, telling the owner that if it not removed they will remove it.

Check with your city and see what laws they have about private property and clean land laws. I live in Utah, just about every city has a law for private property owners to where you can not have unsitely junk along roadways, or where it would present an attaction hazard to others (In other words it attracts people to vandlize or destory property) check and see what the laws are. Most likely if it is unsitely they will ask the owner to move the car. Other wise they will tow it and charge him.

Whose property? Whos car? Usually you just call the police and tell them there is a strange car on your property... your question is vague.

Take the reg. plates off, call the county council to remove it. If you say it has reg. plates then you will have to find the owner.

if it's your property, get it towed away by the local scrap yard. if it's not your property, nothing short of theft.
