You cannot be an atheist or an agnostic unless you have denied Jesus Christ, Son of God, the atonement and resurrection.
So they are of a spirit of Antichrist.

One can be Agnostic or Atheist and be spiritual. There are many diiferent types of people here and I have seen each different belief and non-belief system take a turn at bat.

I think people see the arrogance and rigidity of fundamentalism and want to attack it. Unfortunately, fundamentalists in all and no religions are the most vocal and they drown out the moderates and more spiritual members, giving whatever belief system they're associated with a bad name. When people ask a question about homosexuality or evolution and the response is this rigid lack of logic and almost robotic/zombie-like thinking, people react negatively. When people see the problems of fundamentalism with its attacks on science, medicine, and basic human rights, fundamentalism becomes a target. If fundamentalism were to go away, religion would be such a better thing. We don't see people on here targeting zen buddhists because they don't engage in pushing their agendas so ...

why do SOME Christians use fear to try and recruit? Why do MOST Christians assume they are right and every one else is wrong?
It is YOUR faith not theirs. Be happy in your chosen path and let others find their own way to God. If a person wants to know about YOUR faith-and asks, then answer them but to preach to the uninterested is futile and counterproductive.
