Has anyone considered why the Bible is so one sided?
Was anything recorded from Lucifer's point of view?
Am I the only person who thinks that maybe God is insane and Lucifer was/is only trying to help us; God created everything - good and evil - so why has Lucifer become God's scapegoat?

For your information, there is a record from his point of view, but you have to find it. It is not supported by the institutional religions whose primary goal is upholding the dogma of God in order to control people and minimize the expression of free will for the sake of a tamed and cowed society.

The devil is the very personification of evil.
This concept within Christianity has been the source
of no small amount of controversy. For centuries,
the Church claimed the devil worked his wiles on
the individual person through the guise of the anti-
God figure Satan. Many modern theologians
dispute this interpretation, however, based on this
verse from Isaiah: "I form the light, and create
darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord
do all things” (Isaiah 45:7, KJV). If God does all
things, then a devil is unnecessary (Valiente, 83-
87).
Some religious people need the concept of
the devil. The idea that man is responsible for his
own bad behavior is distasteful to him. It is easier
to have something or someone to blame. The
pattern begins nearly in the beginning of time, with
the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden in Genesis.
Adam blamed Eve, and Eve blamed the serpent. In
the eyes of the early Church, women and the devil
have been responsible for all mischief since.
The story of the devil, who is forever
plotting man's damnation, has been a powerful
weapon of fear. When the very successful film
Rosemary's Baby was first shown in America, it
was condemned by the National Catholic Office for
Motion Pictures. The plot of the film concerns a
girl who has a baby conceived by the devil; and Mia
Farrow, the star of the film, spoke up in reply to the
ban. She dismissed the ban because she felt that it
was the Catholic Church that had "invented the
Satan figure," and that used the figure to enslave
people to the fear of hell.

Farrow could have added that it was the
Catholic Church that espoused the dogma that
recast all non-Christian gods as devils. The
necessary result was that all pagans became devilworshippers.
This attitude allowed pagans to be
persecuted throughout the centuries. Yet,
Rosemary's Baby was a fantastically successful
book and film. This indicates the ambivalent
attitude of society towards the concept of the devil.
He is supposed to be the personification of evil, yet
he fascinates.
The statement that "the god of the old
religion becomes the devil of the new" has become
a truism within the fields of anthropology and
comparative religions. For instance, 'Old Nick' as a
name for the devil is derived from Nik which was a
title of the pagan English god Woden. Sometimes
the devil is simply called 'the Old 'Un', another
name full of meaning in this respect.
The conventional representation of the devil
has him sporting horns on his head, shaggy lower
limbs and cloven hoofs. This is not based in
biblical truth. This is believed to be an adoption of
the figure of Pan from the Greeks. Pan was a goatfooted
god of nature, life and vitality. This god is
believed to be one of the oldest gods in humanity
possibly stretching back to the days of cavemen.
Socrates prayed, "Beloved Pan, and all the other
gods who haunt this place, give me beauty in the
inmost soul; and grant that the outward and inward
be as one." This certainly does not sound like
prayer to the devil as we think of him.
The existence of the dark and clever creature
we refer to as the devil has nothing to do with the
Bible. The devil exists for three reasons. First, he
provides someone to blame for the dark side of our
natures, absolving us of personal responsibility.
Second, he gives us a line of demarcation between
our real God and everyone else’s gods/devils.
Finally, he gives the Church a powerful weapon of
fear to keep its congregants from straying too far
from its dogma.

Yes, I have. The reason that the Bible is so "one sided" as you put it is because it is a sort of documentary, and documentaries are created by people who have a particular point of view. It is considered the Word of God, written by the Holy Spirit through the men of the day. It has been proven accurate beyond redemption, from archeologists to other scientists agreeing that the Scriptures have a sound reference point.

God created Lucifer; he was the highest and most beautiful angel. But he aspired to BE God, and that pride was his literal downfall. He wasn't trying to 'help us'; he was and is only trying to help himself. He knows that his time is short and that is why he is so unrelenting in seeking to deceive us, even to the point where many don't even believe he exists. He is not a scapegoat; scapegoats inspire pity. Do not be deceived, he is the Evil one, and the liar of all liars.

God is not insane. He is the ONE who will help you, not Lucifer the devil. Your question was a good one.

Lucifer tricked us into eating the fruit from a forbidden tree knowing full well that we would be chucked out of a perfect place into a rubbishy one, yeah nice bloke. Anyway there is nothing stopping Lucifer from writing anything from his point of view. God only created the good stuff the evil is our fault with a little help from Lucifer. He's not a scapegoat, he's evil.

there is absolute truth and the Bible is it. Lucifer is not God's scapegoat...Lucifer wanted to be God and he was punished for it. God did not create evil...(if you're gonna bash other ppl's opinions at least try to know a little about what you're talking about!) the Bible says :Genesis 1:31 "God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, a sixth day." is Evil good?? no...when Adam and Eve sinned they brought sin (evil) into the world and man continued to sin. man did that...not God.

God created Lucifer knowing that he would become evil, so god could have prevented it by not creating him or creating him differently, so god did create evil. You are right, it is a mystery that people blame Lucifer for things when god is all powerful and therefore in control of everything.

I have had many friends try this and it never worked out for any of them. Sorry! One set was 3 friends 1 guy 2 bi females. The guy cheated on them both. the 2 girls are no longer friends. This only lasted 6 mo. One set was a straight married couple. They had been married 12 yrs. They decided to swing with other swinger couples. They remained married in this "open" relationship for 4 yrs. before they divorced. The wife fell in love with another woman's husband and now that couple are married and in a closed relationship. My opinion on the subject ... it is just plain wrong. Someone always gets hurt when trust and intimacy are broken.

The Bible is filled with the deeds of Lucifer; he was a wonderful angel who rebelled against his God.

Lucifer has his point of view it's called the satanic bible. iam sure in that so called book they don't look at God's point of view.

actually my theory was that lucifer won the great battle, and took god's spot, then used an already strong following of Christians to cause his evil and strife on the earth while demonising the real god as the devil. and god, now with little influence and almost no followers has simply not been able to set things right.

well from my point of view satan and God are not like people or really an entity it is a spirit form and all good and evil lives within the human spirit /mind .
we have a choice of deciding to do good deeds or bad deeds and everyone KNOWS the difference .
the bible is man written and subject to altercation .....naturally they have created a devil /God so people can be lead and controlled ,but we have all we need within our own spirits .
it is the church that makes BAD seem like a devil and good seem like God .
after all humans apparently need to feel like hell is waiting for the truly wicked while the rightous think they are going to some sort of banquet or something .
anyway just a few thoughts .
