It is recommended you eat 5 fruit and veg a day, but if it is a fruit and veg ONLY diet I recommend two pieces of each fruit. Remember, eat in variation.

In addition to nays comment, Bananas count as 2 fruit servings. They are a great source of potassium but you also need fruits and veggies with a lot of fiber in them

Someone is playing a mean trick on you. You don't eat bananas for weighloss. Bananas are good for you don't get me wrong, it is a good source of K+ but it's what you eat for weight gain.
